it is with great sadness that i have to report that cusworth's of doncaster was taken over by the receiver's today after over 40 years of trading,what a sad loss to south yorkshire

I agree it is a sad day for the staff, the motorcycle trade and the history of Doncaster.

It is always sad when any company closes, the staff like anybody else have family and bills to pay.
Not a very happy Christmas for Cusworths staff.
On another issue what happens to the Yorkshire wings website now?

I can only echo what has been said , it is very sad to see any business go under but even sadder when you deal with them , I thought barry summed it up when he said about going down the solus route was a dangerous way to go in these times . As for the web site it will still grow even without a sponsor as we have the money to pay for it , it only needs a vote if we cannot get another sponsor , saying that cusworths sponsorship does not run out till april 2010 so we have plenty of time
